Hoheward Landscape Park

In the south of the cities of Herten and Recklinghausen, the Hoheward Landscape Park was created with a wide network of paths, which allows a variety of leisure uses, also for cyclists and hikers. The centre and landmark of the popular leisure and cultural landscape is the 160 hectare large and 152 metre high Hoheward slag heap.
